Juliette
Rangel
My name is Juliette Rangel, I am an architecture student from UTSA passionate about blending arts and STEM to create innovative design solutions. Through my studio courses, I have designed various building types using CAD and Adobe Creative Suite to produce detailed presentations. Workshops in architectural rendering and hands-on bricklaying have strengthened my practical understanding of construction and my semester abroad in Italy further enriched my skills by teaching me sketching and drawing historic architecture, broadening my design perspective.
During my Undergrad, I have developed proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software such as Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, D5, and Twinmotion, alongside skills in Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for architectural drawings and portfolios. Managing tight deadlines while maintaining quality taught me strong time management and organizational skills. My passion for architecture is driven by a desire to solve complex problems and continuously learn, making me a versatile and dedicated designer.
As a first-generation college graduate with an engineering background, I bring a unique analytical approach to architecture. Being a Mexican American woman from San Antonio gives me diverse cultural insights that influence my creative outlook. Additionally, my photography and video production skills enable me to effectively communicate and showcase my design ideas.
